Our Story
Dedicated Logistics Partner, also known as DLP, began operating in July 2017 with 10 trucks
and a mission to positively impact the automotive industry. We got our first opportunity to
provide middle and final-mile delivery service to 40 General Motors dealerships throughout
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Over the last 7 years, we’ve increased our
service footprint to include all of New York and New England. We deliver to over 400 auto
dealerships and span over 20,000 miles every night while utilizing 75 trucks and drivers to get it
done.
DLP is more than just trucks and freight. It is all about its people. We go to work with the
purpose of serving our customers better than any other carrier. This is achieved through solid
teamwork. We value everyone who is part of DLP and encourage collaboration and
engagement from all members of our team. We are strong because we are one.
DLP’s future is bright. We continue to grow and provide more opportunities for all those who

Meet The Team

Chris Barnard
President
Chris is the Owner and President of DLP. The company opened their first operation in Allentown, PA in 2017 and has expanded into 5 locations throughout the Northeast. Chris started his career with Airborne Express in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1992 and his journey brought him to lead operations in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and West Coast.
Kelcy Fischer
Recruiter
Kelcy is the point of contact for all hiring needs. She conducts recruitment activities and manages the hiring process as we onboard and welcome new hires to the DLP team. Kelcy has a background in HR, recruiting, and social media.
Samra Smajic
Vice President
Samra holds the position of Vice President of DLP. She oversees all aspects of finance, operations, fleet and human resources. Previously Samra held the position of Finance Manager at DLP. She has spent her career in the financial sector and brings a wealth of knowledge to her position.
Rebecca Lowe Choa Lee
HR & Finance Admin
Rebecca supports our Finance department and company operations. She performs accounting functions as well as assists with onboarding activities. Rebecca has an extensive background in operations and business analysis.
Mirza Smajic
Area Ops Manager
Mirza holds the position of Area Operations Manager for DLP and oversees all three terminals in CT, ME, and NY. Before coming to DLP, Mirza spent the last four years in the solar industry as a Regional Director in charge of operations and worked directly with sales to maximize revenue and operational efficiency. Mirza possesses a can-do spirit that is contagious to anyone around him and has positively impacted our business since his arrival. Mirza attended University of Vermont and obtained his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He continues to increase his education in various areas—focusing on building team morale and operational output.
